Random "teleportation" around the globe
GlobeGenie, created by Joe McMichael, is nifty little hack that randomizes latitude and longitude coordinates and then looks for the closest StreetView location. While it's a great timewaster, it's also a serendipitous way to skip around the planet and see places you might not ordinarily choose to view. (Note: if you limit your search to Africa, there are not many places that Google has captured - expect many hits in South Africa.) You can also set it to flip every 10 or 20 seconds.
