Books for Boys - How do we connect the right reading material to male readers? What exactly makes a book for a boy? Find out what what kind of guy you have in front of you. Barb Langridge, the moderator for "a Book and a Hug" has identified four kinds of male readers, and she uses these categories to match kids to books they might like:
- Connectors/Belongers
- Seeker/Leader
- Jokester/Thrill Seeker/Party Animal
- Answerman
(Incidentally, she maintains that adult male readers fall into the same categories!)
